At the dawn of history a woman (Daryl Hannah) from a cro-magnum clan is brought up by a clan of neanderthals. This is a good adaptation of the novel by Jean M Auel as it recreates the prehistoric atmosphere with a mix of sign language, subtitles and voice over.
