A woman (Rona Anderson) wants to divorce her husband but when he blackmails her lover (Patrick Holt), he is killed and the lover is the prime suspect. This is a dour British crime drama, with the only high point being Rona Anderson going undercover as a newspaper reporter to find the real killer.
