This is a television production of Rogers and Hammerstein musical version of the Cinderella story. As it was television production in 1965, the sets are simple and the production values are not high, but it does convey a simple charm and innocence. Lesley Ann Warren is Cinderella in her first television performance and has a gentle charm. Stuart Damon is the Prince, Celeste Holm the fairy godmother and Ginger Rogers has a small role as the Queen alongside Walter Pidgeon as the King.
