Marla Sokoloff and Patrick Adams have been pen pals for years, but then she is sent to report on a conference that he is attending. They then admit to their best friends Lindy Booth and Jonathan Cherry that they have used pictures of their friends rather than themselves. So Lindy Booth and Jonathan Cherry meet pretending to be Marla Sokoloff and Patrick Adams, whilst Marla Sokoloff and Patrick Adama actually meet without realising who each other is, with the inevitable romantic consequences. The plot is predictable, but there are engaging performances from Lindy Booth and Marla Sokoloff.
