Comment/Synopsis
Two sisters are estranged, one is stage actress and one lives in poverty. When one is suspected of killing a man she takes the place of her sister, but a newspaper reporter sets out to discover the truth. The plot is nothing special, but does deal with some pre-code themes. However it is the performance of Thelma Todd playing both sisters that makes the film.
