When a woman dies the waiting room of a doctor's (Lew Cody) surgery, leaving her teanage daughter (Sally O'Neil) an orphan he makes her his ward over the objections of his wealthy fiance (Aileen Pringle). He goes off to Europe for 3 years and on his return falls for the girl, but she is engaged to his finace's brother (Edward Morgan). The script is quite lightweight as it avoids some of the obvious problems of the age difference, but there is a good performance from Sally O'Neil as the daughter and good support from Marceline Day and Claire McDowell.
