A man (Guy Madison) who is about to be hanged is given the chance of freedom if he marries a woman (Rhonda Fleming). Their initial hostility to each other gradualy turns to respect and love as other people try and manipulate the situation for their own ends. The plot of feisty woman being tamed by a man has echoes of Taming Of The Shew, but this plot moved to a western setting is much weaker. Rhonda Fleming is fine as the feamle lead, but Guy Madison and his character is too weak to make this a good film.
