When Bulldog Drumond is injured in a car accident, her persuades his friend (Jack Hulbert) to impersonate him and help a woman (Fay Wray) find her grandfather who is being forced by a gang of criminals (Ralph Richardson) to receate a valuable necklace. This is one a series of Bulldog Drumond films. The plot of this one has not dated too much, and the film benefits from a slightly over the top performance from Ralph Richardson, a solid performance from Fay Wray and a climax in the British Museum and the London underground.
