A man (Jese Plemons) and his friend (Aiden Delbis) are convinced that aliens are hiding as people so they kidnap the CEO (Emma Stone) of a large company because they think she is chief alien and can contact her Emperor on the mother ship. As the film moves on it is not really clear if he is just paranoid or if there is smething strange about Emma Stone as she does not respond to be being kidnapped and called an alien in a way that most people would.Emma Stone gives a good performance with her hair chaved off and bound in a basement. Aiden Delbis was cast as he is neurodivergent and this was his first film, having previously done theatre work.
