Comment/Synopsis
The film centre's around a famous buccaneer who becomes embroiled in the batlle for New Orleans between the British and the Americans. This is let down by a script that has little focus despite a good cast. Cecil B DeMille was due to direct this but became ill and so Anthony Quinn took over and the directing suffered as a consequnce.
