A remote house has rumours of a monster and people going missing. The police are baffled, but a feisty female reporter (Loretta King) is determined to find out what is going on. She is captured only to become a potential subject to a scientists (Bela Lugosi) attempt to create super beings using atomic energy. The performance of Bela Lugosi is at the heart of the film, even though he is clearly old, and in the last film in which he was to star.
