This film is made by the performance of Audrey Hepburn as the beautiful, innocent call girl. Although in reality her character is more complex as she is in many ways controlling her life and the men in love with her. This is Audrey Hepburn's iconic role with the little back dress, pearls and hair updo. As she sings and plays Moonriver on the fire escape it is her trying to find her place in the world. The film is noted for the Henry Mancini theme tune and the song Moonriver which appears through the film in different variations.
