A wealthy southern American family (Sandra Bullock) take in a homeless black man (Quinton Aaron), accept him into their family, put him through school and encourage him to becaome a profossional NFL football player. This film is based on the true story of Michael Oher. There is a good performance from Sandra Bullock in a role different to many of her other roles. There is energetic support froma Jae Head as the young son of the family and an early performance from Lilly Collins.
