When a private investigator is found dead in a car outside a police station the daughter (Carole Landis) of the candidate for mayor is the chief suspect. Things get complicated as a range of people with different motives get involved which the policeman (William Gargan) has to untangle. This is a good crime drama with a few twists in the plot that make it worth watching.
