Comment/Synopsis

A policeman (Walter Huston) is trying to clean up the city from a group of legally untouchable criminals, but this is complicated by his son (Wallace Ford) who is also corrupt and a beautiful femme fatale (Jean Harlow), that builds to a dramatic conclusion. The themes of this film are definitely pre-code and the final scene is more like the finale of a western.
