A signal is sent out to another planet that may potentially have life, but the aliens who respond come to earth with hostile intentions. This is an alien invasion film that is a mixed bag of naval action, dubious science, that has its origins in the boardgame of tthe same name. The film is not helped by the fact that the better actors have very limited involvement in the film.
