Constance Cummings is an American business consultant who is invited by Robert Morley to join an old fashioned Scottish tweed company. Together they try to modernise the company, whilst Peter Sellers leads the battle to stop the changes from happening. This is less a battle of the sexes and more a battle between the old and the new. Peter Sellers gives an excellent performance as the leader of the old guard in one of his underrated films. The film is based on a short story by James Thurber.
