The writer of mystery novels rents a large, remote house to write her next book. It has a reputation as the site of murders by the infamous Bat. Things become dangerous when bonds go missing from the bank and stange things start happeining in the house. There are no real surprises in the plot and Vincent Price and Agnes Moorehead are OK, but it is not the best film that either of them made.
