Comment/Synopsis

After a misunderstanding a couple decide to divorce each other. However as the degree absoluute gets nearer, they try and upset each others new relationship. This is a fun romantic comedy, particularly the farce scenes with Cary Grant who is well supported by Irene Dunne as his wife and Ralph Bellamy as the man she intends to marry. The film centres around the sexual chemistry between Cary Grant and Irene Dunne an is a good example of the screwball comedy sub-genre of films.
