When a valuable Elizabethan crown is stolen from a library fund raising event the librarian and amateur sleuth Aurora Teagarden (Candace Cameron Bure) and her friends (Lexa Doig, Marilu Henna) investigate as people involved are murdered and manage to keep ahead of the police (Miranda Frigon and Peter Benson). This is one of a series of Aurora Teagarden mysteries and has a similar plot and characters. Pleasant but not a classic.
