A group of scientists travel to a remote isalnd that was used for nuclear tests, only to find it is rapidly sinking anf inhabited by giant mutated inteligent crabs. This is a typical Roger Corman B-movie Sci-Fi film, that in terms of script and production is not great but fed into the cold war and new atomic age fears.
