A psychiatrist applies for a job at an asylum for the criminally insane. His first test is to interview four patients and decide who is the former director who has gone insane. These are four unrelated stories some of which are not original but overall they are well played out. The performances that stand out are from Peter Cushing, Herbert Lom and the pairing of Charlotte Rampling and Brit Ekland. This was written by Robert Bloch.
