A spy (Stephen Boyd) who is deep undercover as an exectutive of a toy company, has his cover exposed and his new girlfriend (Camilla Sparv) is kidnapped to force him to expose his contacts, but she may not be as innocent as she makes out to be. This is a slow spy thriller with little action. The first quarter is the developing romance between Stephen Boyd and the sulty Camilla Sparv set against some impressive skiing backgrounds. Then the rest of the film is the spy part. It falls part way between James bOnd and Harry Palmer in style and so ends up being lost between the two styles. Not the best film that Val Guest made.
