A struggling artist and would be comic writer meet the illustrator of a comic magazine and her friend who is her model who live in the same building. The plot is nonsense but this is really a vehicle for the talents of Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis. It is entertaining nonsense and some of Jerry Lewis's humour has not stood the test of time well, though it is one of the better films from the pair. There is a good early performance from Shirley MacLaine including her being dressed as Bat Woman. It was the first of 6 films featuring Dean Martin and Shirley MacLaine. There is also good support from Dorothy Malone
