A man takes his fiance to meet his two elderly aunts only to find they are multiple murderers who bury the bodies in the cellar. This is a made for television version of the stage play. It is a funny version, which is helped by a good cast with Helen hayes and Lillian Gish as the two aunts and Fred Gwynne as the menacing nephew. The film is based on the play by Joseph Kesselring.
