Comment/Synopsis

A young orphan girl (Anne Shirley) is adopted by an elderly farming couple even though they were expecting a boy to work the farm. Despite being very talkative and having a quick temper, she gradually endears herself to them and the local community. This is a faithful version of the orignal novel by L M Montgomery.
