Kevin Spacey is the middle aged man who reviews the changes that happened in his life in the year leading up to his murder. Kevin Spacey and Annette Benning have on the surface the perfect American marriage, but as he slips into depression, and takes a shine to one of his daughters girlfriends his life is turned upside down. This is a well made film reflecting the undertones of work and sex in mid life.
