David Naughton and his firend are to American's who are attacked on a remote moor. His friend is killed and when he wakes up he is in a London hospital. Jenny Agutter is the nurse looking after him and who takes him back to her flat when he is discharged from hospital, as they fall in love with each other. They discover that he and his friend were attacked by a werewolf, and he is gradually becoming a werewolf and is killing people when it is a full moon.This is a mixture of horror, romance and comedy that works surprisingly well and has become a classic horror film, with an excellent performance from Jenny Agutter.
