Holly Hunter's boyfriend (Richard Dreyfuss) is killed piloting a plane putting out a forest fire. He comes back as a ghost to help her fly fire fighting planes, only to find she is falling in love with another pilot. This is a love story set against a background of dealing with grief, set against a backdrop of fighting forest fires. This was a loose remake of the earlier film A Guy Named Joe. It was Audrey Hepburn's final film role before her death. the music was by John Williams.
