A criminologist takes a job in the town where her brother (Robin Dunne) is sheriff and gets involved in solving a murder related to her friend. She helps her brother and is also supported by friends in the book club and the people in the little arts centre market she runs. Meanwhile she starts a relationship with the town fire chief (Aaron Ashmore). This is GAF making a version of Hallmark's Aurora Teadgarden Mysteries with many of the characters and type of plot being very similar. At least in this version Candace Cameron Bure at least has some relevant qualification. This was the first of a potential series of films.
