A lecturer in criminology (Candace Cameron Bure) who runs a craft store and bookclub starts to investigate the unsolved death of the husband of one of its members. She and the book club investigate with the help of of her brother the policeman and her boyfriend the fire chief. This is the third of the Ainsley McGregor Mysteries films that is Candace Camoerin Bure moving on from the Aurora Teagarden films. This one has a better plot that revolves around the watch of the dead man.
