An engineer dreams of travelling to Mars and the queen of Mars falls in love with him through a telescope that see can see him from Mars. The plot is reall a bit of a mess mixing propaganda, romance, revolution, dreams and sci-fi. What makes this film of note are the sci-fi sections on Mars with great sets and costumes. THis is said to be the first Russian sci-fi film. This is only of interest to people who like early silent sci-fi films.
