Sherlock Holmes's brother tries to come out of his shadow by investigating a case of a woman wanting to retreive some love letters. Gene Wilder wrote, directed and stared in this on the back of his work with Mel Brooks. The result is a very uneven film. The plot is confusing and disjointed and whilst some scenes are funny other are not. There are a few good scenes from Madeline Kahn and Marty Feldman but overall this is disappointing given the quality of the cast.
