An astronaut (Brad Pitt) is sent to the far reaches of the solar system to find the mission led by his father (Tommy Lee Jones) that apparently was the cause of burst of radiation threatening the earth. The plot lines have been used before and the action sequences are not beleiveable (a chase sequence across the moon in open buggies when they have the technology to build big bases on Mars). Disappointing from the science and the fact that given the stars it could have been better.
