In a world that is inhabited mainly by zombies, the few remaining humans live within a walled city. A group of young people are sent out into zombie territory to scavenge for supplies. They come across a group of zombies and in the fight that follows one of the zombies saves a human girl. They hide out from the other zombies in a plane and develop a relationship which starts to turn him back to being a human. However they end up in having to fight the paranoid humans and a group of extreme zombies. This is not a big budget, action zombie film, but is more of a love story across a seemingly impenetrable divide. The two lead actors give convincing performances in their opposite roles in what is a surprisingly good and thoughtful zombie film.
