A newspaper reporter (Jen Lilley) whose father was a naval pilot is invited on a cruise on an aircraft carrier for naval families in the lead up to Christmas, where she meets a fighter pilot (Trevor Donovan) and comes across a romantic story from a couple on the first of these cruises. The story is quite bland, there are digressions into recruitment for the US military, though Jen Lilley is pleasant, but has little to work with.
