An author (Lauren Holly) goes to a small southern town for a book signing at abook shop run by a friend. Whilst there she meetsthe local mayor who has been widowed for three years. The people of the town are determined to match up their popular mayor with the famous visitor. The plot is wafer thin and the dialogue in the last scene is so cliched as to be unbelievable. Lauren Holly gives another good and convincing performance in a romantic role.
