A banker comes up with a plan and then executes what he thinks is the perfect bank robbery, however a tenacious and attractive insurance investigator thinks she knows who is behind the robbery. This is one of the better crime capers from the 1960's with good performances from both Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway, particularly the sexy chess scene.
