A couple (Cybil Shepherd and John Heard) have their baby kidnapped whilst she is in the bath. Sixtten years later when she is pregnant again, a student arrives at the school where she teaches who is disruptive and yet she has a connection with him. At the same time they again start looking for their son. This film lacks any tension or twists though Cybil Shepherd does OK with the material she has to work with.
