In Napoleonic France a soldier (Jack Nicholson) meets an enigmatic woman (Sandra Knight) on the beach who disappears into the sea. When he tries to find her, he ends up in a castle where the dead wife of the current Baron (Boris Karloff) , looks exactly like the woman. The problem with this film is the script and the lack of plot. It is only notable for an early performance from Jack Nicholson.
