Lou Diamond Philips is a scientist involved in a secret experiment in time travel who steals the equipment and boards a plane. When activated the plane enters a wormhole. The plane has on board the wife and daught of Jason Priestly who is investigating the theft and he is helped by Erin Karpluk. The plot is quite poor with no real build up of tension or suspence and Erin Karpluk is underused.
