When a socialite (Tallulah Bankhead) falls on hard times she has to choose between the poor writer (Alexander Kirkland) she loves and the wealthy man (Clive Brook) who loves her. She marries the man with money, but then regrets it and leaves him for the writer, only he has a new girlfriend. This was Tallulah Bankhead's first sound film and she gives a good performance under the direction of George Cukor.
