Clint Eastwood returns for the fourth of the Dirty Harry films, and this is the one that has the line, "Go ahead, make my day". Having had another run in with his superiors, he is sent to a small seaside town to investigate a series of murders. As the body count rises, he realises it is the work of a vigilante set on revenge. Clint Eastwood gives another good performance as the maverick policeman harry Callahan and Sondra Locke gives one of her better performances as the rape victim exacting her revenge.
