Nicole Kidman is a television executive who moves with her family (Matthew Broderick) to the perfect town of Stepford, where all the men have perfect wives, but all is not as it seems. Bette midler is the sligtly anarchic rebel whilst Glenn Close and Christopher Walken attempt to set up their new version of reality. This is an upbeat and slightly camp remake of the 1970's film that is helped by the performces of the three female leads all playing to their strengths.
