A pair of space smuglers have the sentences cancelled by the Emporer of the universe if they can destroy his enemies secret weapon and find his son. THis is basically a cheap rip off of the Star Wars film. However the plot is disjointed whith lots not explained leaving problems with the narrative. The effects are also weak. Marjoe Gortner's acting is so wooden it is distracting. However this is offset by Caroline Munro saving the universe whilst wearing little more that a black bikini most of the time and the sound track from John Barry. If you do not take it seriously, then it is a fun piece of camp sci-fi from the late 1970's. Not a success at the box office but has developed a cult following.
