Jackie Chan's father is killed and his sister follows the murderer to Victorian London. Jackie Chan and his American friend (Owen Wilson) travel from America to London to recover the royal seal, stolen from JAckie Chan's father by an English Lord. This is a mix of martial arts and slapstick against a Victorian London background that is pure Hollywood and not based in reality or history. The send up of Singing In The Rain is wonderful and the highlight of the film.
