A couple meet by chance in a New York department store and decide to let fate decide if they will meet again. Several years later on the eve of each of their weddings they both return to New York to find each other. This film plays on how fate influences people's lives and their love affairs. Light romance that underuses the talents of of both John Cusak and Kate Beckinsale.
