Crime writer Paul Temple (Anthony Hulme) helps the sister (Joy Shelton) of a murdered policeman find the killer and uncovers those behind a series smash and grab jewellery raids. This is the first of four Paul Temple films based on the radio series by Francis Durbridge. The plot has plenty of twists and moves on with a good pace. In places it does reflect the radio basis but it is an entertaining British crime drama.
