Comment
When her mother dies a woman goes west to join her uncle in the gold rush. However he is killed by indians and his identitty taken over by a notorious thief. She realises the man is not her uncle but is persuaded to stay under duress and starts to turn him away from his robbing. After some gold is stolen she realises that he is not reformed and the townsfolk are after him. The plot has all sorts of problems with it, but there is a good performance from Mary Pickford and good production for the time from Cecil B DeMille.
