A cowboy outlaw is made marshall of a town to clean it up. He falls in love love with the prim and proper Margery Wilson, meanshiel the vampish saloon dancer Lousie Glam plots with one of his old gang to get rid of him. This early western has themes that were used many times in later films. The bad guy is reformed thanks to the love of a good woman. William S Hart has eyes that stare in the close ups, whilst Margery Wilson is a bit to sickle sweet, though Louise Glam is happy to use her sexulaity for her own ends.
